About Tactical Tech
Tactical Tech is an international non-profit that builds literacy on the social, political, and environmental impacts of technology globally. Founded in 2003, it has pioneered work on digital security and privacy, digital investigation and advocacy, and award-winning public engagement projects that have been replicated in over 90 countries. Working closely with partners worldwide, it turns complex debates about technology into resources that practitioners working in the public interest can use, adapt, and apply.
As an organisation that has been exploring the impact of technology on society for over 20 years, we have a lot to share: an established network of amazing partners from X countries, a track record of pioneering, forward-looking and award-winning projects, and a constant enthusiasm for meeting new audiences.
Role Overview
We are seeking an engaging storyteller with creativity and a passion for communications, marketing, and business development.
The Communications and Fundraising Coordinator will share their excitement by bringing creativity, energy and drive to the role, working with the whole team to help us realise our full potential. This includes developing and implementing communication strategies, reaching diverse global audiences online and in person, engaging high-impact partners with our products and services, supporting funding applications, and leading on storytelling that captures the impact of our work.
The Communications and Fundraising Coordinator will work across multiple large scale projects funded through the EU Creative Europe and EU Horizon programmes as well as projects funded through government and foundation funds.
If you love showcasing great work, are experienced in communications, marketing and promotions within civil society, enjoy working on globally impactful projects, and want to join a dynamic Berlin-based international NGO, you could be a perfect match!
As we are a small team, this role requires someone who can work independently even when the stakes are high. This means the role is best suited for someone with at least three years solid experience in an equivalent role, preferably more! Our working language internally and externally is English.
